Created in 2008 to commemorate the inaugural Singapore Formula 1 Grand Prix, the first-ever night race in F1 history, this reference was produced in a strictly limited edition of only 250 pieces globally. During an era when AP defined high-octane horological luxury, this watch set a new benchmark for aggressive material fusion, making it a highly coveted reference for serious Audemars Piguet purists.

The Craft: Forged Carbon Technology & High-Octane Dial Architecture

The 42mm stainless steel case displays AP’s hand-finishing, pairing satin-brushed profiles with mirror-polished bevels. The signature octagonal bezel is crafted from Forged Carbon: a lightweight, ultra-durable aerospace material pioneered by Audemars Piguet, giving every single watch a unique carbon fiber pattern that cannot be replicated.

The black Mega Tapisserie dial exudes pure racing adrenaline, accented by vibrant racing-red chronograph counters, red inner tachymeter scale, and luminescent Arabic numerals. The pushers and crown are shielded by rubber-clad guards, maintaining extreme functional utility and a water resistance rating of 100 meters (330 feet).

Under the hood beats the manufacture In-house Calibre 3126 / 3840. This self-winding chronograph movement consists of 365 components, runs at 21,600 vph and delivers a reliable 50-hour power reserve. The movement is protected by a solid caseback engraved with the official Singapore Grand Prix 2008 commemorative inscription and unique limited-edition numbering.
