Rolex confirmed the end of the steel GMT-Master II 126710BLRO "Pepsi" at Watches and Wonders in April 2026, and the attention it drew has spilled across the rest of the GMT family, including the Yellow Rolesor Ref. 126713GRNR. The 126713GRNR is a 40mm steel and yellow gold GMT-Master II with a grey and black Cerachrom bezel, introduced in 2023 and still in the current catalogue at a US retail price of $20,450 on rolex.com as of 5 October 2026. On the secondary market it trades close to that figure: WatchCharts puts its value retention at +1.9% over retail as of 30 September 2026, while Chrono24 asking prices on 5 October 2026 had a median of $23,177.

What the 126713GRNR is
The Ref. 126713GRNR is the Yellow Rolesor version of the Rolex GMT-Master II: a 40mm Oystersteel and 18k yellow gold case with a black dial and a bidirectional 24-hour bezel carrying a grey and black Cerachrom insert.
The Rolex product page lists the 126713GRNR on the five-piece Jubilee bracelet in Yellow Rolesor, with a folding Oysterlock safety clasp and the Easylink 5mm comfort extension link. Water resistance is 100 metres, or 330 feet, and the dial uses Chromalight luminescence on the hands and hour markers. Rolex describes the bezel as a "Bidirectional rotatable 24-hour graduated bezel. Two-colour grey and black Cerachrom insert in ceramic, moulded numerals and graduations."
The watch arrived at Watches and Wonders 2023. Monochrome Watches listed its launch price at USD 16,450, EUR 16,300 and CHF 15,700, and was candid about how little had changed mechanically:
"This new Steel and Yellow Gold Rolex GMT is nothing more than a visual update."
Monochrome Watches, hands-on review of the Rolex GMT-Master II 126713GRNR, 2 May 2023
That is the point of the reference. The case, movement and bracelet architecture are shared with the rest of the modern GMT-Master II line; what the 126713GRNR changes is tone. The same review put it plainly: "The rest is all discreet, subtle. This new insert is almost like a graduation on black."
Where the "Guinness" nickname comes from
"Guinness" is a collector nickname, not a Rolex name. Rolex's own materials refer to the watch only as the GMT-Master II in Oystersteel and yellow gold, Ref. 126713GRNR. Luxury Bazaar's Rolex nickname guide says "Guinness" references the dark stout's appearance, a fair description of a black dial and grey and black bezel framed in yellow gold. The same guide notes that "Zombie" is also applied to the 126713GRNR, while the full yellow gold sister reference, the 126718GRNR, is sometimes called "Bumblebee".
Swiss Watch Expo also records both names, describing the 126713GRNR as "often referred to by collectors as the 'Guinness' or 'Zombie'." Usage is not settled. Luxury Bazaar gives the steel 126710GRNR, which shares the same bezel colours, the nickname "Bruce Wayne", and the names overlap in dealer listings. When searching, the reference number is the only reliable identifier.
Calibre 3285: the movement inside
Every current GMT-Master II, including the 126713GRNR, runs on the Rolex Manufacture calibre 3285. According to the Wikipedia entry for the GMT-Master II, the calibre arrived with the 2018 GMT-Master II models and added Paraflex shock absorbers and a 70-hour power reserve, up from 48 hours on the outgoing calibre 3186.
Monochrome's review lists the main components: the Chronergy escapement with paramagnetic nickel-phosphorus parts, the blue Parachrom hairspring and a bidirectional winding rotor. Rolex rates the movement at approximately 70 hours of reserve and certifies it as a Superlative Chronometer at -2/+2 seconds per day after casing.
The GMT function pairs the local hour hand with a separate 24-hour hand for a second time zone. Rolex explains the second display this way:
"The distinctively coloured 24-hour hand displays the 'home' reference time in a first time zone which can be read on the graduations on the bezel."

126713GRNR vs. the other GMT-Master II references
The 126713GRNR shares its 40mm case and calibre 3285 with every reference in the table below. What separates them is metal, bezel colour, bracelet and, in one case, the side of the case the crown sits on. Retail prices are from rolex.com (US) on 5 October 2026 for the bracelet shown; the 126710BLRO no longer has a retail price.
| Reference | Collector nickname | Case | Bezel insert | Introduced | US retail, 5 Oct 2026 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 126713GRNR | Guinness, Zombie | Yellow Rolesor | Grey and black | 2023 | $20,450 (Jubilee) |
| 126710BLRO | Pepsi | Oystersteel | Blue and red | 2018 | Discontinued 2026 |
| 126710BLNR | Batman, Batgirl | Oystersteel | Blue and black | 2019 | $11,800 (Oyster) |
| 126711CHNR | Root Beer | Everose Rolesor | Brown and black | 2018 | $20,050 (Oyster) |
| 126710GRNR | Bruce Wayne | Oystersteel | Grey and black | 2024 | $11,800 (Oyster) |
| 126720VTNR | Sprite | Oystersteel, crown on left | Green and black | 2022 | $12,500 (Jubilee) |
Introduction years come from Wikipedia (126710BLRO, 126710BLNR, 126720VTNR), Swiss Watch Expo (126711CHNR), Monochrome Watches (126713GRNR) and SJX Watches (126710GRNR). Nicknames follow Luxury Bazaar's guide.
The most direct comparison is the steel 126710GRNR, which arrived a year after the 126713GRNR with the same grey and black insert. SJX's JX Su called it "perhaps the most useful variant of the GMT-Master II since it is the most low key." The two-tone 126713GRNR takes that same muted bezel and adds gold, which is why it sits at a retail price $8,650 above the steel version on an Oyster bracelet. Its closest peer on price is the Everose Rolesor 126711CHNR "Root Beer", $400 cheaper at retail and the other two-tone GMT-Master II in the catalogue.
The 2026 Pepsi discontinuation and what it did to the market
The biggest GMT-Master II story of 2026 is not a launch. WatchPro reported on 28 February 2026 that Rolex had told authorised dealers there would be no more deliveries of the steel 126710BLRO "Pepsi". WatchPro USA then reported on 15 April 2026 that the discontinuation was confirmed at Watches and Wonders 2026. Swiss Watch Expo's list of 2026 discontinuations includes both the steel 126710BLRO and the white gold 126719BLRO, and notes that no red and black "Coke" GMT-Master II appeared to replace it. We found no verified new GMT-Master II reference introduced at Watches and Wonders 2026.
The market response was measurable. In its coverage of EveryWatch's first-half 2026 data, WatchPro wrote on 4 August 2026 that the Pepsi discontinuation "triggered a buying frenzy" that increased sales for a single reference by 78% to $44 million. The same report put Rolex secondary market sales at $4.3 billion for the first half of 2026, up 43.5% year on year. EveryWatch also commented on Rolex's Certified Pre-Owned programme in that report:
"Rolex CPO is emerging as the model the rest of the industry should study: brand-backed certification converting directly into liquidity and share gains."
EveryWatch, quoted by WatchPro, 4 August 2026
The 126713GRNR was not discontinued and remains in Rolex's catalogue. For buyers, that matters in two ways: new supply continues through authorised dealers, and the reference is not subject to the scarcity pricing that followed the Pepsi announcement.
