Product Description

The Story

The Girard-Perregaux Laureato 225th Anniversary is a horological milestone, marking the triumphant return of an icon. Released in 2016 to celebrate over two centuries of GP history, this reference (81000) was limited to only 225 pieces worldwide. As the "Fifth Generation" Laureato, it bridged the gap between the vintage archives and today’s production models. With its distinctive octagonal bezel set against a circular plinth and a stunning blue Clous de Paris dial, it re-established Girard-Perregaux as a dominant force in the integrated sports watch category.

The Craft

Expertly crafted in stainless steel, this 41mm masterpiece strikes a perfect balance of presence and elegance at just 10.1mm thick. Inside beats the In-house GP Calibre 03300, an ultra-slim automatic movement with a 46-hour power reserve, finished with meticulous Côtes de Genève and circular graining. The integrated bracelet, with its polished H-shaped links and satin-finished surfaces, flows seamlessly from the case, offering a level of comfort that has made the Laureato a favorite among seasoned collectors.

Condition & Set

This example is presented in Excellent condition, preserved with the care a limited edition of this magnitude deserves. It arrives as a Complete Full Set, including the premium GP wooden presentation box, the owner’s manual, and the original warranty card dated 2015. With only 225 examples ever produced, this is a rare opportunity to secure the "Relaunch Laureato"—a watch that is not only a beautiful daily companion but a significant piece of modern watchmaking history.
