The Omega Seamaster Aqua Terra "Skyfall" is perhaps the most celebrated modern iteration of the Aqua Terra line. Famously worn by Daniel Craig’s James Bond in the 2012 film Skyfall, this 38.5mm reference (231.10.39.21.03.001) has since become a cult classic. Its deep sunburst blue "Teak" dial, inspired by the decks of luxury yachts, shifts from a vibrant azure to a dark midnight blue depending on the light. Now discontinued, it represents the perfect cinematic heritage piece for the collector who demands Bond-level sophistication and versatility.

The Craft

Beyond its silver-screen fame, this Aqua Terra is a horological powerhouse. It is driven by the Omega Co-Axial Calibre 8500, an in-house automatic movement visible through the sapphire caseback. Known for its exceptional accuracy and reliability, the movement features two barrels for a 60-hour power reserve. The 38.5mm stainless steel case is the "Goldilocks" size for many, striking enough to have wrist presence, yet slim enough to slide effortlessly under a tuxedo cuff.
