The TAG Heuer Carrera Chronograph Seafarer × Hodinkee (Ref. CBS2014.FT6293) revives that storied nautical heritage in a strictly restricted limited edition of just 968 pieces globally. Built upon TAG Heuer’s cutting-edge "Glassbox" architecture, this reference blends historic regatta functionality with modern Swiss mechanics, making it a cornerstone collectible for vintage Heuer purists and modern chronograph connoisseurs alike.

The Craft: Glassbox Architecture & The In-House TH20-13 Tide Engine

The 42mm stainless steel case is defined by TAG Heuer’s innovative "Glassbox" design, where a domed sapphire crystal curves seamlessly over the outer flange without a traditional external bezel, flooding the dial with light and offering extreme wide-angle legibility.

The matte black dial is punctuated by vintage-inspired blue accents. The star of the layout is the dedicated tide indicator subdial at 9 o'clock, divided into alternating shades of light sky-blue and deep sea-blue to track high and low ocean tides. A 30-minute chronograph counter sits at 3 o'clock with matching blue segments, balanced by a running seconds display at 6 o'clock.

Turn the watch over to admire the mechanical heart through the sapphire exhibition caseback: the In-house TAG Heuer Calibre TH20-13. Engineered specifically for the Seafarer complication with bidirectional automatic winding, this column-wheel chronograph movement stores a substantial 80-hour power reserve. Supported by a screw-down exhibition caseback, the watch provides a dependable water resistance rating of 100 meters (330 feet).
