But it was in 1976 that the Ingenieur took on its modern identity, when the legendary Gérald Genta redesigned it as a sleek, integrated-bracelet sports watch. Sharing the same design philosophy as his creations for the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak and Patek Philippe Nautilus, the Ingenieur Ref. 1832 introduced the bold industrial aesthetic that this model continues to embody today.
This IW323906 is a modern evolution of that lineage — refined, balanced, and instantly recognizable. The 40 mm stainless-steel case showcases Genta’s geometric precision, alternating brushed and polished surfaces for depth and dimension.
