The dial is sliced from an authentic fragment of the Muonionalusta meteorite—a metallic asteroid fragment that formed over 4 billion years ago during the birth of our Solar System, entered Earth's atmosphere approximately 800,000 years ago, and was discovered north of the Arctic Circle in Sweden in 1906. Slicing and treating this ancient ferrous material requires extraordinary technical skill; each dial reveals a completely unique Widmanstätten crystalline structure formed over millions of years of microscopic interstellar cooling. The meteorite dial is framed by applied faceted dart indices and dauphine hands, finished with brushed and polished facets for optimal legibility:
