Gérald Genta is the designer behind the Audemars Piguet Royal Oak (1972), the Patek Philippe Nautilus (1976), and the IWC Ingenieur SL: the architect of the modern integrated-bracelet sport-luxury wristwatch category. The maison continues to operate as a Bulgari-owned line producing Genta's later original designs.
